This organic wine farm is located in the municipality of Greve in Chianti, just a few kilometres from a well-known Chianti Classico town.

The vineyard (11.4546 acres) produces around 57,000 bottles of wine per year, including an outstanding Chianti Classico DOCG.

All services are available in the nearby town (3km; 5′) or in Greve in Chianti (11km; 20′), and many of Tuscany’s famous towns and cities such as Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Montepulciano, Pisa, Pienza…can be easily reached in less than two hours by car.

The main farmhouse (5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) dates from the 15th century and has two wine storage rooms as well as a residential unit with two big living rooms, two kitchens, a reading room, an office, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two shower rooms.
One of the bedrooms opens onto a paved terrace with views of the vineyards and shaded by a big oak.
The house has a 2m circular oven built inside the walls on the outside.
This rural house has been fully rebuilt while retaining its original rustic character, and it is equipped with video monitoring and automated control for entry to the property and the cellar.

The estate has a reception area with a wine-tasting room, a kitchen, and a bathroom for guests.
The structure was completely restored in 1998.

The wine cellar (constructed in 1971) and the ageing cellar (also built in 1971 but buried inside the hill to preserve a stable temperature throughout the year, allowing for optimum wine maturation) are the winery’s backbone.
Above ground, directly above the maturing cellar, is a vinsantaia that also serves as a packaging facility.

The estate has a total surface area of around 20.8 hectares (51.4 acres), half of which is covered in vineyards.
The remainder is classified as arable, grazing land, and mixed woodland.

The vineyard (11.4546 acres) is managed using organic methods that have a minimal environmental impact.
The farm only uses green manure, copper and sulphur for treatments, and undesired weeds are eradicated by simply cultivating the crops (instead of using glyphosate).
The vines are hand-tended, and harvesting occurs between September 20 and October 10.

Valoritalia, which monitors manufacturing and maintains product quality, certifies and clears the wine for bottling.
Once the permit is obtained, the winery is outfitted with bottling, labelling, and packaging technology.
